AUSTIN, TX, - July 1, 2008 - Ranch Road Design and Printing, Inc. announced today that it is offsetting its carbon emissions with Carbonfund.org, one of the country's leading carbon offset organizations. Ranch Road, which leads the Austin printing industry with a business approach that emphasizes dedication to the environment and a proactive stance against global climate change, is offsetting 70 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions through Carbonfund.org.

Ranch Road's owners, employees and clients are all concerned by the effects of global warming. Ranch Road's use of a digital press which reduces paper waste and utilizes non-toxic dry inks; vigilant recycling; subscription to clean renewable energy sources; and availability of recycled papers to customers are just a few other ways it strives to help our environment.

Co-owner Tanner Shepard said of Ranch Road's dedication to the environment, "It's easy to say that it's the right thing to do, but when you sit down and think about future generations and the problems they will face, you realize that it's not only the right thing to do, it's the necessary thing to do."
