BANGKOK, THAILAND - January 16, 2008 – Yoga Elements Co. Ltd announced today that it has offset its carbon emissions with Carbonfund.org, the United States leading carbon offset organization. Yoga Elements has offset 70 tons of CO2 emissions by joining Carbonfund.org's CarbonFree(TM) Small Business Program. This commitment places Yoga Elements as an environmental leader in the spiritual health community and demonstrates proactive steps being taken in the fight against global climate change.
Yoga Elements is very concerned about global warming. Considering the implications of climate change, carbon offsets through Carbonfund.org are a natural extension of the work Yoga Elements does on behalf of its passion to cool the earth.

"Originally, my intention for Yoga Elements was to be a mechanism by which I could raise money for environmental purposes," said Yoga Elements director Adrian Cox. "The realities and learning curve of running a business made it so I had to focus on profit, not charity, for our growth phase as a company. Now I realize that individually contributing to positive change in the world is both very empowering and also within my power. Seeing how most people are simply paying lip-service to the idea has strengthened my resolve to do what I can, as a business and as an individual. I know my step in this direction will inspire others to do the same."
