Mervyn King to Give Keynote at ECOA Annual Conference

Waltham, Mass. - Corporate governance expert Mervyn King will be a keynote speaker at the 2006 Ethics & Compliance Officer Association Annual Business Ethics & Compliance Conference. The conference will take place at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City, Utah, from October 3-6, and King's keynote address will officially commence the conference at 9:00 am on Wednesday October 4.

Mervyn King is senior counsel and former Judge of the Supreme Court of South Africa. He is Professor Extraordinaire at the College of Economic and Management Sciences of the University of South Africa and chairman of the King Committee on corporate governance. He is a member of the private sector advisory group to the World Bank on corporate governance, Chairman of the Eminent Persons Group to review the governance and oversight of the United Nations and a director and Chairman of companies listed on the London, Luxembourg and Johannesburg Stock Exchanges.
