OAK BROOK, IL. -- The Board of Trustees for Ronald McDonald House Charities recently elected Martin J. Coyne, Jr. as the new President and CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities. Coyne was named to the position following the retirement of Ken Barun in December.

Coyne joined Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) in 1990 as the Director of Development. In 2001, he was promoted to the position of VP & COO of RMHC. In these roles, Coyne oversaw the financial aspects of the Charity, leading all Development efforts, which have resulted in increased fundraising capacity and the establishment of substantial corporate partnerships.

“I’m honored to have been elected to the role of President and CEO,” said Coyne. “Together with our partners, we hope to grow the Charity and increase the number of children and families RMHC helps.”

Coyne currently serves as a board member of America’s Charities and Deliver the Dream.
