DENVER, CO - Feb. 20 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ - On Monday, February 18th, Aurora's new Ronald McDonald House received one of their finishing touches -- furniture. The Furniture Row Companies provided over 45 rooms full of furniture and mattresses for this new "Home Away from Home."

This new Ronald McDonald House will provide temporary lodging for families of seriously ill or injured children. Located in a brand new facility one mile from The Children's Hospital, Fitzsimons Medical Campus and close to the Medical Centers of Aurora, the new House will be in excess of 67,000 square feet, almost doubling the capacity from the first Ronald McDonald House in Denver. A public grand opening event has been scheduled for Saturday, February 23rd from 2-4 pm at 932 Potomac Circle in Aurora.

"In donating furniture for the entire Ronald McDonald House in Aurora, we're simply trying to support its efforts to keep families together while their children receive medical care at area hospitals," said Bill McKendry, Marketing Director for Furniture Row Companies.
