  • The Salt River Project (SRP), the third-largest public power utility in the nation, serving 920,000+ electric customers in the greater Phoenix metropolitan area.

"The Awards for Excellence are designed to honor a company's overall employee and retiree volunteer effort, including not only the actual community service program, but also the policies and the company vision that support those activities," says Ancilla Chopskie, Director of Business Services for the Points of Light Foundation & Volunteer Center National Network, which sponsors the awards program.

"The awards honor those companies that have made a serious commitment to the community and have made their employee and retiree volunteer efforts a central part of their operations, enjoying strong support at the highest level of management in the company."
