ST. LOUIS, MO - May 22, 2008 - The Enterprise Rent-A-Car Foundation has donated $100,000 to the American Red Cross to assist in the relief efforts in the aftermath of the earthquake that shook China on May 12. The donation reflects the company's concern for the well-being of employees with extended family and friends in the region. The Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Taylor Family of St. Louis, which owns and operates Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car.
"While Enterprise, National and Alamo do not have a significant presence in this portion of the world, we have a number of employees whose families have been impacted," said Jo Ann Taylor Kindle, president of the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Foundation. "Our thoughts and prayers go out to them and all those affected by this tragedy."
