PORTLAND, OR- June 5, 2007 "“ As of April 24, 2007, US-based Climate Clean, LLC, has entered into an initial Verified Emissions Reduction Facility Agreement with Ireland-based EcoSecurities Group, Plc., a leading company in developing climate protection projects that effectively mitigate greenhouse gas emissions.

The Climate Clean, LLC, mission is to revolutionize the voluntary carbon market in the United States by working with American companies to embed the highest quality offsets of greenhouse gas emissions in the world into the consumer market. By using largely the same standards that guide The Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) of the Kyoto Protocol, American companies and consumers can be assured that the emission reductions that they are supporting are credible and verifiable.

"We were looking for stability and transparency, so EcoSecurities was a natural choice for us. They have a ten-year track record in developing emissions mitigation projects under the Kyoto Protocol. Like Climate Clean, they understand that the credibility of the voluntary market is based on high standards and rigorous oversight. As a publicly traded company in the environmental trading area, their reputation for environmental integrity is extremely important," said Stanley W. Fields, Chairman of Climate Clean, LLC.

EcoSecurities is a leading company in the greenhouse gas emissions reduction market and has been involved in the development of many of the global carbon market’s most important milestones, including developing the world’s first CDM project to be registered under the Kyoto Protocol and the first to receive issued carbon trading credits from the CDM.

"We're excited about this innovative transaction with Climate Clean, and look forward to working at the forefront of bringing quality emission reduction projects to the emerging voluntary carbon market in the United States and elsewhere," said Marc Stuart, Co-Founder and Director of New Business Development of EcoSecurities.
