Harris appeared as a celebrity contestant during the show's "Celebrity Week."

This week the game show couples celebrities like Harris with regular contestants, and the winnings go to each celebrity's chosen charity. This is the second time Harris, better known for his role in "Doogie Howser, M.D.," a popular television show which ran from 1989 to 1993, has generously donated to Children International.

James R. Cook, President and CEO of Children International said, "Children International is ecstatic about Neil Patrick Harris' big win! His donation will help us bring lasting hope to children who live in dire poverty."
