CALGARY, ALBERTA. - July 15, 2008 - EnCana Corporation's 2007 Corporate Responsibility Report, outlining the company's approach to meeting corporate responsibility commitments, was published today on www.encana.com.
The 2007 report includes performance data and descriptions of how EnCana responds to its corporate responsibilities and stakeholders’ needs. It also details how the company works to ensure that the environment, safety and ethics are addressed in operations, business development initiatives and corporate practices.
EnCana's 2007 Corporate Responsibility Report was prepared using the Global Reporting Initiative's "G3" Sustainability Reporting Guidelines. According to the GRI, the data provided in our printed report and on our website represents a B+ level of disclosure and transparency for key economic, environmental and social performance indicators.
This report has also been independently reviewed by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
