Conference Description
Because cancer affects nearly everyone in some way, the disease has a major impact on the workforce. The estimated total cost of cancer is more than $219 billion per year in health care expenses and lost productivity. Hosted by the American Cancer Society, the conference will serve as a forum for corporate leaders committed to understanding the economic impact of cancer. It also will recognize the nation’s foremost companies that are impacting cancer through their commitment to the health of their employees and through the contributions raised in the fight against the disease and leading the way in corporate responsibility and community involvement.
Who Should Attend
The conference is designed for people who are responsible for their company’s overall health management, health and wellness programs, corporate philanthropy, and community involvement initiatives. During a separate forum, CEO participants can join in-depth, peer-to-peer exchanges on issues relevant to running organizations effectively with a healthy workforce.
