SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - February 2, 2009 - The Boom Boom! Revolution launched its Boom Boom! Cards and companion web site today, showcasing a combined real world and online social network that links players all over the world through simple actions that unlock people's innate altruism. Bold and colorful cards call for the cardholder to commit intentional acts of kindness called Boom Booms! The cards, which are individually registered and can be tracked online, encourage people to engage in such generous behavior as buying a stranger a cup of coffee, picking up litter, making apologies, giving compliments, picking up the tab and other small deeds that are then played forward to others.

According to Mary Beth Campbell, founder and CRO (Chief Revolution Organizer), "Like a boomerang, we believe that whatever thoughts, actions and words you put out into the world will eventually find their way back to you, but not before covering a lot of ground a long the way. The quickest and simplest way to communicate that karmic notion is by saying, 'Boom Boom!' You put it out, it comes back."

The Boom Boom! Cards, also called "Kit for a Social Revolution," feature twenty-six individually designed and uniquely numbered Boom Boom! Cards, a sticky note pad, a mini pencil, a carrying sack, and a trifold direction card. The kit fosters and supports people reaching out to others in real life, by doing a thoughtful act or sharing a kind word. Those who Boom Boom! can tell the story of their acts of kindness on the companion website and then watch as those acts reverberate around the world. The online portion of the Boom Boom! Cards includes a community, comments, shared experiences, a global tracking map, video and picture posts and, very soon, the ability to donate a portion of your Boom Boom! Cards to a designated charity.
