About the EICC
The Electronic Industry Citizenship Coalition (EICC) is a nonprofit coalition of leading electronics companies dedicated to the social, environmental and ethical responsibility of their global supply chains. The EICC is comprised of more than 100 electronics companies with combined annual revenue greater than $3 trillion, and directly employing over 5.5 million people.
Over 3.5 million people from more than 120 countries contribute to the manufacture of EICC members’ products. The EICC is focused on trafficked and forced labor, health and safety, environmental sustainability, working hours, freedom of association, vulnerable workers, conflict minerals and other issues related to workers and their communities affected by electronic supply chains worldwide. EICC members commit and are held accountable to a common Code of Conduct and utilize a range of training and assessment tools to support continuous improvement.
The EICC regularly engages industry, governments, NGOs and other stakeholders to drive sustainability in the global supply chain.
