The report also details how Bloomberg integrates sustainable business practices into its operations and decision-making and how it helps to drive progress in the communities where employees and clients live and work.

The report highlights Bloomberg’s latest ESG datasets, tools and research, including products that help firms assess risks and opportunities as the world transitions to a net-zero emissions economy and meet new climate-related regulatory requirements. Bloomberg also outlines its progress toward reaching its validated science-based net-zero emission reduction target by 2040, including the recent signing of an 80 MW Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for renewable energy.

In a story where passion and attitude are essential pillars, CASE presents the story of Lina Marcela Gonzalez Vásquez, Commercial Coordinator of the dealer <a href="https://partequipos.com/" target="_blank">Partequipos</a>, the official distributor for CASE in Colombia. In her day-to-day work, Lina plays a fundamental role, supporting and sustaining the commercial process to promote the development of each sales opportunity, providing accompaniment to both commercial advisors and others involved. In addition, she oversees the negotiation processes with international suppliers, always maintaining a results-oriented approach, with a high level of productivity and quality in her work.

Women play a prominent role throughout the sector's value chain, which has increased in recent years. "Personally, I am optimistic about the growing presence of women in a male-dominated sector like mine. Participation not only fosters gender equality, but also enriches our work environment with a variety of perspectives and skills."

When disaster strikes internationally, Americans want to help. While well intentioned, most people are unaware that donating material goods can hinder relief efforts by creating logistical challenges and overwhelming local infrastructure. Monetary donations to trusted organizations working on the ground helps support international disaster relief efforts and makes a meaningful impact on the lives of those affected by these devastating events.  
The 2024 winning PSAs were selected from submissions received from universities and community colleges across the country in three categories: video, static image and GIFs.

Schrödinger has published its second annual Corporate Sustainability report, which provides a comprehensive overview of the company's progress developing and executing on its strategy for addressing environmental, social and governance (ESG) matters.

Overview

The European Union (EU) has set a strategic agenda to tackle climate change. To improve the energy performance of buildings, the EU has established a legislative framework that includes the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive and the Energy Efficiency Directive. These aim to help achieve an energy efficient and decarbonised building stock by 2050, supported by the gradual introduction of Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS).

CBRE has conducted an analysis to understand how energy efficiency upgrades in multifamily housing (MFH) can impact the market value of an asset.

<ol><li>Although asset-stranding is not a new phenomenon in the real estate industry, the scale of stranding emanating from MEPS-related transition risk could be quite substantial.</li>
	<li>In the case of buildings used as collateral, the transition risk related to MEPS could have serious implications for the financial industry. With financial institutions implementing strategy to reduce their financed portfolio's carbon footprint, they will become increasingly selective when agreeing refinancing for assets that need upgrading.</li>
	<li>Compression of cap rates for the best performing stock will increasingly become visible across the region. This is already recognised in several European countries, including The Netherlands and Germany.</li>
	<li>The ability to demonstrate that energy efficiency is capitalised into rents is the first important step for property owners and investors to have a financial incentive for upgrading their assets.</li>
	<li>The results of our analysis confirmed that energy efficiency features, as measured by the EPC rating, have an impact on MFH rental levels. However, the rental price differences and associated benefits need to be compared with the costs of energy retrofits, as the premium needs to be high enough to compensate for the retrofit.</li>
	<li>Our analysis in the Danish market has shown that it is difficult to build a business case around moving a MFH asset’s energy profile from EPC B to EPC A. On the other hand, moving a building from EPC C to EPC B results in 9% asset value uplift.</li>

The need for cybersecurity professionals is projected to <a href="https://www.bls.gov/ooh/computer-and-information-technology/information-security-analysts.htm#:~:text=Job%20Outlook%20Employment%20of%20information%20security%20analysts,each%20year%2C%20on%20average%2C%20over%20the%20decade." target="_blank">grow by 32% by 2032</a> and Eaton’s multipronged efforts are strengthening the talent pipeline for the cybersecurity workforce. With more than 27,000 employees in the U.S., Eaton provides in-depth cybersecurity education for its workforce across all levels of its business to help customers build safer, more cybersecure electrical networks.
