The Northeast Sustainable Energy Association’s (NESEA) sustainability workshop series serves professionals by broadening their knowledge on a wide range of critical topics that focus on three core elements: sustainable solutions, proven results and cutting-edge development in the field. Each workshop is accredited by AIA, NACHI, NARI, BOMI, AIAQC, and NAHB. Attendees receive seven continuing education units.
Two workshops will be held in Berlin at the Northeast Utilities System Headquarters, Berlin Auditorium, 107 Selden Street. This workshop is entitled, Deep Energy Retrofit (DER), instructed by Paul Eldrenkamp of Byggmeister, Inc., Newton MA. This workshop includes effective energy DER strategies involving super-insulation on the exterior of buildings. Strategies are assessed on a cost-benefit basis.
