The Northeast Sustainable Energy Association’s (NESEA) sustainability workshop series serves professionals by broadening their knowledge on a wide range of critical topics that focus on three core elements: sustainable solutions, proven results and cutting-edge development in the field. Each workshop is accredited by AIA, NACHI, NARI, BOMI, AIAQC, and NAHB. Attendees receive seven continuing education units.
The workshop in New Brunswick will be held on November 5 at the Rutgers Center for Green Buildings & NJSSI, Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy, 33 Livingston Ave, Suite 100, and is entitled, Home Energy Rating System (HERS), instructed by Mike Duclos of Energy Efficiency Associates LLC, Stow, MA. This workshop describes how the HERS rating of a residence is generated, and how it is used to reduce energy use in both new and existing homes.
To register, visit www.nesea.org. The fee is $295 per workshop. NESEA members receive a $25 discount. Registration is limited and is taken on a first come first serve basis.
