Cash Donations: It's no surprise the current economy is restricting the amount of cash donations available for donation. How do you decide where to donate, and at what phase of disaster relief is a donation most effective? Featuring CARE, Oxfam International and the American Red Cross.
Volunteer Mobilization: In a disaster, how effective is your plan to train and mobilize a large group of corporate volunteers? Featuring Hands On Disaster Response and National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (NVOAD).
Lunch & Keynote: The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) discusses disaster preparedness for the business, as well as for the individual, in anticipation of National Preparedness Month in September. FEMA will also be joined by Safe America Foundation.
Open Forum: While you'll have plenty of opportunities to ask questions of the various presenters throughout the day, the Open Forum is your chance to share best practices and gather practical insights that you can take back to work and put to use immediately!
