CSRwire, GlobalGiving and the Springfield Renaissance School Join Forces in Philanthropy Project

CSRwire recently donated $1,250 worth of GlobalGiving donation certificates (50 certificates of $25 each) to middle and high school students at The Springfield Renaissance School, an Expeditionary Learning School in Springfield, Ma. Students will choose which organization in the GlobalGiving network to donate the funds to and make a presentation at CSRwire headquarters on January 26th.

When: 1:30 – 2:30 p.m

Students and community members are invited to gather in CSRwire's community space to hear local students' presentations about their GlobalGiving donation.

Student will address:

• Which project did they donate to?

• How their team chose it?

• Were they familiar with the country/organization/cause before choosing it? How so?

• What they learned about the country/organization/cause that they didn't know before?

• Where do they think they can make the biggest impact in the world?
