Jack Hidary is a lifelong New Yorker, entrepreneur, advocate for public service, education, sustainable energy and economic growth. He has the leading track record of any Mayoral candidate on sustainability and the environment.

  • In 2005, Jack successfully led the effort to change the law in NYC from one which mandated the use of the low-MPG Crown Victorias' to one which encouraged the use of hybrids and higher mileage vehicles.
  • He has been a leading advocate for the deployment of electric vehicles and EV charging stations in urban centers along with car-sharing solutions.
