Australia’s opinion formers and leaders will join the sustainability conversation on 26-28 March 2012, as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), with the support of its strategic partner the Australian Government, holds its first ever Australian conference in Melbourne, Australia.
The GRI is a non-profit organization that provides all companies and organizations with a comprehensive sustainability reporting framework that is widely used around the world. The GRI’s first ever Australian conference aims to to explore, shape and advance the field of Sustainability and Integrated reporting in Australia and the Asia Pacific region.
With a central theme of Innovate – Integrate – Collaborate, the conference will communicate GRI’s thinking on integrated reporting and the latest iteration of its Sustainability Reporting Framework, the G4.
Up to 300 hundred representatives from business, government and civil society are expected to attend, making the Australian GRI Conference on Sustainability and Integrated Reporting the place to be for any organization aiming to position itself as a leader in the fast-growing field of sustainability and integrated reporting. Australian sustainability leaders who have taken up sponsorship include BHP Billiton, KPMG, Westpac, CPA Australia, ANZ, and Wesfarmers amongst others.
