Corporate Social Responsibility Event

Codes of Conduct
Description:
Many corporations are revisiting and rewriting existing Codes of Conduct
(or developing if one does not exist). A well-written and thoughtfully
distributed code can be an instrumental tool for teaching a company's
employees the "rules of the road," reducing misconduct through reporting
and protecting the corporation in the event of malfeasance. This 2-hour
interactive online symposium(plus 1-hour follow-up for each individual
attendee) features leading inside counsel and outside practitioner experts
walking participants through the best practices in content, editorial style
and distribution of an effective Code of Conduct.
Discussion topics will include:
1. Why you need to rewrite your code
2. Setting the proper tone from the top
3. Topics for the code to proactively address risk areas
4. Proper language and structure
5. Use of learning aids
6. Reporting procedures
7. Certification of the code
