Corporate Social Responsibility Event

This research workshop is designed and convened by the INSEAD Business in Society Centre. The event will build upon previous EABIS activities such as the 5th Annual Colloquium in Milan, which examined “Strategic Management, Corporate Sustainability and the Stakeholder View of the Firm.” This theme will also be the subject of a special issue of the Corporate Governance Journal due in autumn 2007, with high-level collaborative articles developed from material presented in Milan.
The objective of the workshop is to convene a small, carefully selected group of academics and reflective practitioners from business and other stakeholder groups to share their work and thinking on the link between corporate responsibility and corporate strategy. It is intended to provide new insights into the dynamic relationship between the two, to highlight key challenges from the academic and practitioner perspectives, and to examine the state of theory and methodology that currently inform management practice and education.
