CHANGE THE CITY YOU LIVE IN - May 16th 2008

London Better Together Day is your chance to make a real difference to the city of London. It's an opportunity for people in London's business community to join forces and spend one day of the year helping to make it a better place. This year promises to be bigger than ever as we ask people to think about our changing climate and tackle projects with an environmental theme.

So on Friday May 16, we're asking you and your colleagues to swap your business suits for muddy wellies and spend the day planting, pruning, weeding or repairing. Over the past three years almost 5,000 volunteers from nearly 150 businesses have created gardens, painted classrooms cleared scrubland and mended fences in projects aimed to help schools and community groups.

So talk to your boss, your colleagues and your friends and round up a group for London Better Together Day. who knows, you could go to bed in a whole new city.
