In partnership with the Eco Home Network and the Santa Monica Farmers Market, Eco Umbrella presents The Green Gourmet Eco Speaker Series.

Our goal is to raise awareness and offer the community a Series of fun, dynamic and interactive events whereby one can learn first-hand about the connection of the food, the environment, and living Green. Join Us as for a wonderful Green Gourmet Eco Speaker Series where esteemed Chefs and Green Living Experts provide a wonderful cooking demonstration using organic and sustainably produced ingredients.

In connection with the changing seasons, we hope to highlight an amazing Guest Chef/Speaker for each of the Summer 08', Autumn 08', Winter 08' and Spring 09' seasons to showcase the wonderful variety of organic and healthy foods that can be used, eaten and enjoyed throughout the year.

Apart from raising awareness and creating a community of eco-conscious partners, proceeds from the Green Gourmet Eco Speaker Series will also go towards the development of a Girls Sustainability Initiative that aims to foster "sustainability" in young girls with an emphasis on both "inner and outer ecology."
