Centre for Sustainability & Excellence (www.cse-net.org), are organising the

research and consulting services for institutional investors and financial
professionals, will be among the speakers of this one-day, invitation-only
conference.
Based in London and chairing Europe's premier marketplace for trading
carbon dioxide emissions (offering advanced, low-cost and financially
guaranteed tools for the European Union Greenhouse Gas Emission Trading
Scheme - EU ETS), Mr. Koster has been active in the trading and
banking environments for more than 15 years in senior management, most
recently as Chief Executive Officer at Fortis Bank U.K.
In addition, H.E. George Alogoskoufis, Greece's Minister of Economy
and Finance, and H.E. Thomas M. Countryman, Chargé d'Affaires a.i.
at the U.S. Embassy in Athens, are expected to deliver a keynote address,
while Mr. Jonathan Winslade, Senior Relationship Manager, SAM
Indexes GmbH, Switzerland, a business unit within SAM Group that drives
marketing and licensing for the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes, and Mr.
Paul Simpson, Chief Operating Officer, Carbon Disclosure Project
(CDP), an independent not-for-profit organisation aiming to create a
lasting relationship between shareholders and corporations regarding the
implications for shareholder value and commercial operations presented by
climate change (providing a co-ordinating secretariat for institutional
investors with a combined USD 41 trillion of assets under management),
will share their expertise, best practices and experiences with the
audience of top executives (CEOs, COOs, Chairpersons), entrepreneurs,
CSR/CR and HR Directors, journalists, policy formers, decision-makers,
experts and other stakeholders.
This high-level event is expected to attract over 400 participants from
Greece and overseas and will feature a healthy mix of plenary sessions,
three central panels -- focusing on "CSR Leadership: The Impact of CSR
on Publicly-listed Companies", "CSR Success: Business as Unusual" and
"CSR Focus: The Challenges of Climate Change" - as well as hands-on
workshops.
It will be followed by the "CEO & CSR 2007 Awards". "HRIMA Week's"
49,000 readers, the Brussels-based CSE Think Tank's 4,000 CSR
professionals and stakeholders, and EuroCharity's 12,000 'opt-in'
bi-weekly electronic newsletter receivers -- via an on-line poll scheduled
to be carried out this month -- will select the nominees of these
prestigious awards.
