IMI Forums and OCEG to Share Technology Expertise at BFSI Forum - March 12-14th 2008, Tampa Florida
Forum will help Banking, Financial Services and Insurance Sector improve business performance
(CSRwire) September 19, 2007 - Informed Market Intelligence and The Open Compliance &
Ethics Group (OCEG) announced today the upcoming BFSI 2008 forum - a
premier event presenting cutting edge information about emerging
technologies and best practices that are critical to governance, risk
management and compliance (GRC) in the Banking, Financial Services and
Insurance industry. Leading analysts and experts will engage executive
participants in focused discussions and workshops that will help them to
plan and execute GRC efforts that will add real business value to their
enterprises.
"We are very pleased to partner with IMI to present this timely and
valuable event for IT and GRC executives in the banking, finance and
insurance sector," says Carole Stern Switzer, President of OCEG. "Recent
OCEG research has shown that entities in this sector are realizing a need
to more effectively integrate GRC efforts and are planning to improve
their use of technology in this area in the next 1-2 years. Participation
in the BFSI Forum will provide those making the decisions with invaluable
information and access to experts who will help them make the right
choices. OCEG will report further on its study of GRC strategy in the
finance sector at the Forum."
BFSI 2008, is being held March 12-14th at the Innisbrook Resort & Golf
Club in Tampa, Florida. The forum will play a leading role in the
enhancement of business strategies, improvement of governance and risk
management, and demonstration of IT value propositions.
'All participants at BFSI 2008 will be taken on a journey through new
business models, redefined architecture and aggressive technology
solutions centered around and beyond the current supply chain of customers
and non traditional partners' said Tak Man, President of Analysts in Media
and IMI Forums. 'We are pleased to have OCEG share its insights and
expertise on the latest trends and essential IT elements that will help
businesses and infrastructures build more flexible, adaptable and secure
systems that will propel you and your company to the forefront of your
industry'.
The forum, unlike traditional conferences, is driven by participant
interest as attendees are able to develop their own session tracks and
actively participate in workshops. The three day event also provides
opportunities for frequent informal meetings and networking.
