Mission Research Announces “Make the Switch” Program to Introduce GiftWorks Fundraising Software for Charities and Nonprofits to Current eTapestry and GiftMaker Users
(CSRwire) LANCASTER, PA - August 21, 2007 - Mission Research, developer of
the GiftWorks affordable donor management and
fundraising software for nonprofits, announced today its "Make the
Switch" program to introduce GiftWorks fundraising software for nonprofits
to current eTapestry, and GiftMaker software users who may be concerned
that their recent acquisition by Blackbaud may result in higher prices and
other changes Mission Research is offering these users a special migration
package to GiftWorks fundraising software for nonprofits, which is more
affordable, more intuitive, and industry proven. GiftWorks has thousands
of satisfied users and is recommended by top state associations. More
information about GiftWorks is available at www.missionresearch.com/giftworks.
The migration package comprises licenses, migration services to support
the transfer of data from their current platform to GiftWorks, one full
year of technical support, and two special webinar trainings - a quick
start Webinar to get up and running right away, and a more in-depth
training Webinar to support power-users.
"Mission Research is aware that some eTapestry customers will likely face
a painful conversion over to Blackbaud's Raiser's Edge, higher prices and
new maintenance costs," said Mission Research CEO Charlie Crystle. "We're
offering eTapestry and Giftmaker customers special deal to convert over to
GiftWorks if they make the jump by September."
GiftWorks' web-integrated, desktop software leverages the security and the
power of the desktop, and will shortly integrate web services including
online mapping and address validation. GiftWorks has over 6,000 customers
with more than 15,000 users and is usually priced at just $299. eTapestry,
and GiftMaker users who identify themselves will be offered a discount.
"The nonprofit sector is not well-served by expensive and complex
enterprise software, given that most of the 1.8 million nonprofits in the
US have under $1 million in revenues," said Crystle.
