Netfirms Green is a commitment to reduce the company's environmental footprint by conserving energy in its data centers and corporate offices.

The company is in the final stages of migrating their clustered server architecture and data center operations to a direct current power source using Rackable Systems (NASDAQ:RACK) patented DC power technology. The technology has already reduced Netfirms data center power consumption by 25%. By end of 2007, they plan to reduce power usage in data centers by 45%.
