The School of Imagination Hosts Inaugural Golf Tournament to Benefit School Enrichment Programs Tailored for Needs of All Children
(CSRwire) DUBLIN, CA — June 25, 2007 —The School of Imagination announced a
fundraising golf tournament to be held today at the Poppy Ridge Golf
Course in Livermore, CA. Proceeds will benefit the School of the
Imagination and help it to provide individualized programs that are
tailored to the care and learning needs of all children. The time-tested
programs combined with the lowest teacher to student ratio in the
Tri-Valley area, allow each child to develop the skills and confidence to
succeed in all educational settings.
"We need this school in our community to remind us of not only what we
have, but what we have to share and what we need to do for others," said
Dublin, Mayor Janet Lockhart, "It's what you've done for my community that
means the most to me. We are so proud to say the School of Imagination and
Happy Talkers exists in the City of Dublin."
When and Where
Media and the community at large are invited to attend the School of
Imagination golf event, dinner and auction on Monday, June 25, 2007 at the
Poppy Ridge Golf Course in Livermore, CA.
Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. followed by the "Shotgun Start" at 1:00
p.m. The event will culminate in a dinner, awards ceremony and auction at
6:00 p.m.
The event features fabulous prizes, auction items and special guest
appearances including:
Five night stay and three rounds of golf at the prestigious Pebble
Beach Lodge resort
Five night stay at the Scottsdale Princess with two rounds of golf
at the TPC Stadium Course and Desert Course with roundtrip airfare for
two.
A week's stay in sunny Puerto Vallarta
Autographed Oakland Raiders gear and memorabilia
Special guest appearance by the fabulous Oakland Raiderettes
VIP Tour of CBS 5 studios, viewing live taping of News at Noon, and
meeting on air personalities including Pleasanton’s own Roberta
Gonzales
Entry fees will be $175 per person and is limited to 144 players and
covers green fees, golf cart, range balls, tee prizes, a box lunch and
dinner. The format for this event will be a Foursome Scramble, two
foursomes per hole. Non-golfers are also welcome to attend the dinner and
auction for $30 per guest.
