Agilent Technologies Releases 2001 Environment and Social Responsibility Report
(CSRwire) Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) today released its second Environment
and Social Responsibility Report providing detailed information about the
company's environmental and social impact in 2001, and how it manages its
worldwide operations.
The online report, available on Agilent's Web site at
www.agilent.com/go/sustainability, is aimed at investors, customers,
suppliers, governments, non-governmental organizations, employees and
other stakeholders with an interest in the company's operations.
"This year's environment and social responsibility report shows that we
have made good progress with our overall citizenship goals despite very
difficult market conditions," said Ned Barnholt, Agilent president and
chief executive officer. "Those goals are to conduct our business in a way
that supports a clean, healthy and sustainable environment, and to be an
economic and social asset to every community where we do business."
Flag Communication Ltd., a design and communications consultancy based in
Cambridge, England, produced the report, which follows the Global
Reporting Initiative (GRI) guidelines.
