(CSRwire) June 6, 2007 - Tate Publishing and Enterprises is proud to announce the
release of the new book Fit for Service: Recycle Inefficiency into
Philanthropy by Irving, Texas, author David Childs, PhD.
The best organizations share several traits. Two of them are a commitment
to efficiency and a love of giving. In Fit for Service: Recycle
Inefficiency into Philanthropy, author David Childs, PhD explains
how these traits can be combined to create a new powerful "win-win"
dynamic for corporate philanthropy. Fit for Service provides 81 specific,
real-world "15-minute exercises" that organizations can implement to
improve their operational efficiency, making them more efficient, more
"Fit," more successful. Childs encourages organizations to donate a
portion of their savings to philanthropies of their choice. Organizations
become more competitive. Organizations and their staffs feel a new sense
of purpose. Waste is reduced. Philanthropies have a new source of
revenue. Become a quality organization. Become Fit for Service.
