Lime.com Rolls out the Green Living Animated Web Series --"Ms. Rabble"
Voiced by Comedienne Victoria Jackson, "Ms. Rabble" Recycles, Manages Stress and Finds Herself Web Series Anchors May "Ditch It" Themed Tentpole - Spring Cleaning for the Home, Body and Mind
(CSRwire) NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 7, 2007--LIME, the #1 green living
multimedia brand, will roll out an originally produced animated webisode
series that provides a fresh and irreverent perspective of today's green
living movement. Produced for LIME (www.lime.com) by award winning short
filmmaker Frank Chindamo of Fun Little Movies and Face2Face Animation
Studios, comedienne Victoria Jackson (formerly of
Saturday Night Live), is featured as the voice of "Ms. Rabble." "Ms.
Rabble" (www.lime.com/msrabble), which
marks the first animated webisode series that LIME has developed for its
multiple platforms, launches today on LIME's broadband channel and will
roll out on additional digital platforms over the next few months.
The first three webisodes are: "Eco-Schmecko," focusing on recycling
-- from diapers to boyfriends; "Stress Management," which gets
up-close-and-personal with Ms. Rabble on "the couch" as she examines the
importance of living a balanced lifestyle; and "I Found Myself," a
tongue-in-cheek commentary on self-awareness.
"Green and healthy living has become mainstream and we wanted to
create something that would connect with a broad audience and make them
laugh," said Judith Tolkow, SVP, Programming, LIME. "We created Ms. Rabble
for the newcomers to the green lifestyle, as well as for the loyalists, as
an irreverent and entertaining look at the green living sector."
The "Ms. Rabble" animated series anchors LIME's May themed "Ditch It"
tentpole month (www.lime.com/ditchit), providing an
alternative view on traditional spring cleaning for the home, body and
mind. Folks visiting LIME's website will be able to find a room-by-room
guide developed by renowned organizing expert Regina Leeds from LIME
Radio's
"The Zen of Organizing," who will provide easy steps to tackle that
closet, office, kitchen and bathroom. In addition, LIME will provide
readers with an online recycling tool that will allow users to find
responsible ways of ditching their belongings this spring...boyfriends
not included!
Other videos to be featured in May include short form videos featuring
eco-stylist guru Danny Seo as he introduces countertops made from recycled
materials as well as a visit to the New York Center for Green Remodeling,
where he helps readers discover second-hand treasures from construction
sites. Also highlighted in May are videos that will inform readers on
recycling cell phones and office furniture.
