New Corporate Social Responsibility Community Portal for Malaysia

(CSRwire) CSR-Malaysia

Our aims and vision

The CSR MalaysiaTM Community Portal is a unique forum which aims to identify and promote a clear understanding of the CSR issues that concern all stakeholders in Malaysia – consumers, employees, investors, communities and society at large.

We believe that responsible business in Malaysia begins and ends with the issues that are important to stakeholders in Malaysia.

If companies know who their stakeholders are, identify what their stakeholders want and do what they can to deliver for their stakeholders then they are going a long way to fulfilling their social responsibilities.

Our aim is to build an interface between businesses – both small and large – and stakeholders of all types to help everybody to be clear about the priorities for CSR in Malaysia.

Like so many things about Malaysia, the specific issues that concern stakeholders here are unique to Malaysians.

The CSR MalaysiaTM Community Portal aims to bring these issues into focus.

Encouraging Dialogue and Sharing Experiences

For Stakeholders - The CSR MalaysiaTM Community Portal aims to provide an open gateway for stakeholders to share their experiences with companies through the most effective information portal ever developed – the Internet!

The CSR MalaysiaTM Community Portal will provide an easy access, low-cost, open forum – no need for expensive conference bills, no need to be scared by public speaking and no need to feel that you are alone in expressing your opinions!

For Companies – The CSR MalaysiaTM Community Portal will provide a more representative arena than industry dominated talking shops. We aim to provide a space where you can really see what your stakeholders think. Companies can: -

  • Browse the articles and comments and can contribute for themselves if they wish to

  • See the issues that really matter, rather than guessing or picking up the latest fad

  • Follow the conversation as it develops and so create sensitive initiatives pro-actively

The CSR MalaysiaTM Community Portal aims to provide a useful forum that will benefit businesses and their stakeholders together!

    Keeping Informed

The CSR MalaysiaTM Community Portal aims to provide an information source for the whole community.

  • We will post CSR news and events from around Malaysia, Asia and the World.

  • We will link to other community and business networks to keep you informed of their activities

  • We will post regular research briefings and opportunities to contribute to the research of our partners

  • We will post links to research papers by leading academics in the field

Most importantly, CSR MalaysiaTM Community Portal will offer you a unique opportunity to keep everyone informed about what you think!

The CSR MalaysiaTM Community Portal is an initiative of OWW Consulting and is supported by CSR Asia, The Liaison Combination and People Potential. Other companies and community organisations have also offered their support.
