Entries Sought in 5th Annual Cause Marketing Halo Awards
Honors America’s best business/nonprofit alliances
(CSRwire) RYE, NEW YORK -- Nonprofits and businesses proud of their 2006 cause
marketing campaigns are encouraged to enter the 5th annual Cause Marketing
Halo Awards.
February 2, 2006 is the entry deadline. Honors in eight
categories will be presented on May 17 at a gala awards luncheon during
the Cause Marketing Forum conference in New York. Winners will also be
featured in Advertising Age magazine.

The eight competitive categories are:
Best Transactional Campaign: A program in which consumer activity
such as buying a product, redeeming a coupon or visiting a website
generates a donation.
Best Joint Message Promotion: A partnership focused on sharing an
important cause-related message.
Best Cause Marketing Print Creative: The best use print
(advertising or collateral) in support of a cause marketing campaign.
Best Cause Event: The best live event related to a cause marketing
campaign.
Best Health-Related Campaign
Best Environmental/Wildlife Campaign
Best Social Service/Education Campaign
National/Local Integration: A campaign that successfully integrates
local chapters and/or business units into a national cause-related
campaign.
Entries will be judged by an interdisciplinary panel of cause marketing
experts using four criteria: conceptual strength, execution, business
results and cause results.
The competition is open to all campaigns that took place (in whole or in
part) in the United States in 2006.
