(CSRwire) DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 12, 2006--Denver Mattress Company has donated a combined total of over $56,000 to various Rescue Missions throughout the Southwest this Holiday Season.

The donations were raised from an in-store charity campaign.

Additional funds were raised through a secondary campaign underwritten by Denver Mattress Company. This campaign, supported by newspaper and television advertising, was created to solicit individual contributions for the Missions.

The following contains comments regarding how the donations will positively affect the Missions' operations.

The gift we received from Denver Mattress will help to provide the services we offer including 150,000 prepared meals a year, 10,000 beds provided, and a very successful Christian Recovery Program which runs about 40 men at any given time.
