Denver Mattress Company Helps Make Colorado Warmer This Holiday Season
(CSRwire) DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 27, 2006--Denver Mattress Company and CW2
will help make Colorado a warmer place this holiday season for those in
need. The fifth annual "Share the Warmth" winter coat and apparel drive
collected over 3,800 coats for Coloradoans. This was double the amount
from the previous year. Over the past five years, the campaign has
collected over 15,600 coats for the community.
Coat donations were collected at 16 Colorado Denver Mattress Company
stores for four weeks. A $20 off Dr. Choice Mattress coupon was given to
those who donated.
All coats and winter apparel were forwarded to Energy Outreach
Colorado to be distributed by the following charitable agencies to help
those in need. These agencies included: The Aurora Center, ACS LIFT, Inter
Faith, Community Services, Jeffco Action Center, Empowerment, The Denver
Chapter of the Salvation Army, Broadway Assistance Center, and Aurora
Inter-Church Task Force.
"We really appreciate everyone who took the time to donate coats for
this important effort," said Jennie Miller of Energy Outreach Colorado.
"There are literally hundreds of children, working people and seniors who
suffer through the winter months without a warm coat, and these donations
will make a world of difference to them."
