Denver Mattress Company Aligns with The Salvation Army for Operation: Rest Assured
(CSRwire) DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 21, 2006--Denver Mattress Company's sixth
annual charity alliance with The Salvation Army comes as a welcome relief
to the organization this holiday season.
Denver Mattress Company will launch an in-store campaign at its 16
Colorado retail locations. The campaign titled "Operation: Rest Assured"
will raise approximately $150,000 for the Colorado chapter of the
Salvation Army.
The logistics of the campaign consist of $20 being donated for each
mattress sold from the period of November 25 to December 31, 2006, to The
Salvation Army. The in-store donation will be capped at $150,000.
In addition, Denver Mattress is underwriting a comprehensive direct
donation fundraising awareness effort. This will include both newspaper
and television advertising in Colorado.
The Salvation Army is greatly appreciative of the funds this campaign
generates annually. "Denver Mattress has been a wonderful partner with The
Salvation Army for many years. The money Denver Mattress donates helps all
of our programs along the Front Range and beyond. Programs such as our
Lambuth Family Shelter, Crossroads Transitional Housing, after-school
programs for the youngsters of our communities and Emergency Disaster
Services, whose focus is to help those victims of natural or man-made
disasters. Denver Mattress is a great community partner," stated Lt.
