Sprint Joins Motorola, (PRODUCT) RED and the Global Fund to Help Fight AIDS in Africa with Upcoming U.S. Availability of RED MOTORAZR

OVERLAND, Kan., and LIBERTYVILLE, Ill.- Motorola (NYSE: MOT) and Sprint
(NYSE: S) today announced the upcoming nationwide availability of the RED
MOTORAZR V3m, a new wireless phone designed exclusively to support (RED),
an initiative founded by Bono and Bobby Shriver to raise awareness and
money for The Global Fund. The Global Fund is an innovative public-private
partnership created to finance a dramatic turnaround in the fight against
AIDS in Africa with an emphasis on women and children.
As the exclusive worldwide wireless partner for (RED), Motorola is
developing unique products and partnering with leading wireless operators
to enable consumers to help fight HIV/AIDS in Africa. The RED MOTORAZR is
the first in a series of products in the U.S. to benefit The Global Fund.
Both Motorola and Sprint will contribute directly to the fund with each
RED MOTORAZR sold at Sprint.

on-demand video and audio.
Sprint Movies, the first "pay-per-view" service for mobile phones in
the U.S. that streams full-length movies, including recent box-office hits
and timeless favorites.
NFL Mobile, a Sprint-exclusive wireless application that brings fans
access to same-day video highlights, customizable real-time statistics,
scores, injury reports and other information.
Sprint Music StoreSM, which allows users to browse and wirelessly
download full-length songs directly to their phone.
Sprint Power View, the industry's first made-for-mobile sports and
entertainment video programming network.
The MOTORAZR V3m is one of Motorola's thinnest multimedia phones for the
CDMA network and features a refined metal housing and sculptured clamshell
shape. The bold red hue of the RED MOTORAZR makes a striking statement
complimenting its ultra-thin, attractive design.
RED MOTORAZR handset includes five unique preloaded screen savers.
Additional advanced features include a 1.3 megapixel digital camera with
4x digital zoom and video capture, playback and streaming, GPS enabled,
