Dell to Serve as Title Sponsor for 2007 Dell East-West Shrine Game; College All-Star Football Game Benefits the Shriners Hospitals for Children
(CSRwire) ROUND ROCK, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 16, 2006--Dell (NASDAQ:DELL) has
signed on as the title sponsor of the 2007 Dell East-West Shrine Game, the
premier annual college all-star football game benefiting the Shriners
Hospitals for Children, scheduled for Jan. 20, 2007, at Reliant Stadium in
Houston.
The East-West Shrine Game has a long history of featuring some of
America's most talented players and coaches, but the game's No. 1 purpose
is to raise money and awareness for the excellent orthopedic and burn care
available, at no cost, through the 22 Shriners Hospitals for Children
throughout the United States. To date, the game has raised more than $14
million for Shriners Hospitals and has helped inform millions of people
about this extraordinary philanthropy.
