Jeffrey Swartz, Timberland's President and CEO.
"We want to continue to make it better - and we want consumers to demand
that from us and other companies they do business with."

Following the publication of the 2004 CSR Report, Timberland requested
feedback from its stakeholders and incorporated much of that in this
edition. As a result, the 2005 report includes a more in-depth picture of
Timberland's business model, information about its public policies and
shows how CSR efforts may contribute to a company's performance. In
addition, through its membership in Ceres, a national coalition focused on
the challenges associated with global climate change, the 2005 CSR Report
was also formally reviewed by Ceres stakeholders.
The report is available in two formats:
A 70-page PDF at www.timberland.com/csrreport
A 30-page hard copy condensed version that can be requested
