'Good for Morale Equals 'Good For Business' to be Discussed By Philips and Janssen Pharmaceutica at Ethical Corporation's Conference
(CSRwire) Brussels-- On September 26-27, Ethical Corporation will bring together
corporate communication experts and social responsibility leaders at
Brussels' Internal CSR Communications Conference 2006.
Evidence shows that keeping employees up to speed about CSR developments
boosts their morale, improves loyalty and enhances productivity. Indeed,
businesses that regularly output articulate and honest information about
their CSR commitments secure staff support and engender a sense of pride
within the organisation.
How much do people in your organisation know about your corporate values?
Where do they stand in regards to these values? Are they in a position to
deliver positive brand messages to your customers?
According to receipt surveys, well-communicated initiatives have been
shown to improve employee satisfaction and increase productivity.
Companies reporting more than 70% satisfaction from employees showed
double the percentage growth of those below this benchmark. This indicates
that companies boosting good morale may experience higher growth rates than
companies that do not.
At Ethical Corporation's Internal CSR Communications Conference, Henk de
Bruin, Senior Vice President and Head of the Corporate Sustainability
Office at Royal Philips Electronics will discuss how he effectively
assimilates important CSR concepts into Philip's internal network; and
Stefan Gijssel, CSR Manager at Janssen Pharmaceutica will discuss
ways to convince the CSR sceptics in your business to become brand
ambassadors.
Other key speakers include:
Nestlé, Christina Drotz-Jonasson, Associate Vice President of
Public
Levi Strauss Europe, Regis Mulot, VP HR and Director of Community
