National Senior Games Association and Humana Announce New Partnership; Louisville to Be the Host City for the 2007 Summer National Senior Games
(CSRwire) BATON ROUGE, La. & LOUISVILLE, Ky.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 11,
2006--The National Senior Games Association (NSGA) and Humana (NYSE:HUM)
have entered into a six-year partnership in which Humana will be the
Presenting Sponsor of NSGA's premier event, the Summer National Senior
Games - The Senior Olympics for the term of the agreement.
The biennial Summer National Senior Games - The Senior Olympics
Presented By Humana is the largest multi-sport event in the world for men
and women over the age of 50. The event attracted 10,400 athletes and over
20,000 additional guests to the 2005 games. The economic impact exceeded
$30 million for the Host City of Pittsburgh. NSGA projects more than
12,000 athletes will participate in the 2007 Games in Louisville, Kentucky
from June 22-July 8.
