US Business-NGO Partnerships Conference to Highlight Communication Best Practices
(CSRwire) Woodcliff Lake- Ethical Corporation's 2-day conference on
Business-NGO Partnerships, to be held in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey on May
9-10 2006 will cover, among other topics, communication best practices.
Ethical Corporation's Business-NGO partnerships conferences are among the
few conferences that provide an interactive forum for both sides to
present their views and offer constructive ways for business and NGOs to
work more effectively.
According to research conducted by Ethical Corporation, both business and
NGOs noted a lack of or poor communication as one of the main reasons for
abortive partnerships.
The Business-NGO Partnerships conference will host two roundtables around
communication. The first roundtable, entitled "How to set up and maintain
clear communications between the business and NGO" will offer best
practices on how to understand the other side's rhetoric and develop a
common language that is clear to both partners.
The second roundtable on "Communicating your partnerships to employees and
business partners" will cover how to jointly communicate your partnership
to business partners and how to internally market your alliance so it gets
the support it deserves.
Participants will leave these sessions with the tools and know-how to help
them maintain clear communications with their partners - an important in
step in building and sustaining a long lasting and mutually beneficial
partnership.
