Simple, Low-Cost Volunteer Management Software Announced for Mission Research GiftWorks Fundraising Software
Breakthrough Fundraising Software for Nonprofits Set to Expand This Spring
(CSRwire) Lancaster, Pa--Mission Research announced today the upcoming spring
release of its Volunteer Management for its GiftWorks 2006 nonprofit
fundraising software, the fastest growing software for the nonprofit
sector. GiftWorks Volunteers will enhance the industry-leading donor
management software with new features of managing volunteer resources, job
descriptions and qualifications, calendar and time worked, and volunteer
skills. Nonprofits will be able to manage all stakeholder information in a
single application.
"Our customers really seem to love GiftWorks for donor management, but
many of them want to manage volunteers more specifically," said Charlie
Crystle, CEO of Mission Research. "Our volunteer management solution will
integrate directly with GiftWorks, and share the same easy-to-use,
remarkably designed user interface. And like GiftWorks, it will be very
inexpensive."
Slated to ship sometime this Spring, GiftWorks Volunteers serves as an
example of easy-to-build add-ons for the Mission Research technology
platform, and will sport web-based integration so volunteers can manage
their own information and schedules.
"Our platform offers Hybrid Web, which allows us--and soon, other
developers--to build secure, powerful desktop applications, seamlessly
integrated with powerful web applications, like online donations, mapping,
and things like hosted supporter pages," said Crystle. "With volunteer
management on our Hybrid Web platform, nonprofits get both the benefit of
easy-to-use software and the ability to distribute some of the workload of
managing volunteer data to the volunteers themselves."
GiftWorks Volunteers will be available later this spring. Pricing has not
been set but is expected to be under $300 per license.
