JohnsonDiversey Release First-Ever Global Responsibility Report
Report Reinforces Commitment to Sustainability
(CSRwire) RACINE, WI -- JohnsonDiversey continues its rich company history of
responsibility, accountability and stewardship with the release of its
first Global Responsibility Report for 2004.
The report highlights the company's economic, social and environmental
performance around the world. It demonstrates JohnsonDiversey's commitment
to sustainability and mission to be its customers' best partner in
maintaining safe, healthy, high performing facilities.
"We recognize the enormous environmental impact of the cleaning and
hygiene industry and are doing something about it," said S. Curtis

The report covers a wide range of issues that impact customers, employees
and the communities that JohnsonDiversey serves. Organized around the
theme of responsibility, the report highlights JohnsonDiversey's
ResponsibleSolutions program, which articulates how the company goes to
market as a responsible manufacturer, employer and neighbor.

Among the highlights of the report:
JohnsonDiversey programs like Health High Performance Cleaning and
SafeKey are helping its customers provide environmentally sound, healthy
and safe solutions to their cleaning, hygiene and food safety needs.
The company led by example, by having its Racine, Wis., headquarters
LEED-EB certified. In doing so, JohnsonDiversey was one of four
organizations to receive the first Leadership in Energy and Environmental
Design (LEED) certification for Existing Buildings and realized an annual
return on investment of $137,000 in operational savings.
Environmentally, the company has a proven track record for reducing
overall water use, energy use and waste.
Employee injuries have been reduced by 50 percent since the start of
the Target Zero safety effort in 2002.

JohnsonDiversey's annual financial report to investors.
