(CSRwire) WASHINGTON, D.C. - The United States Chamber of Commerce Center for
Corporate Citizenship announced the nomination period for its 2005
Corporate Citizenship Awards, recognizing America's leading corporate
citizens, is now open.
"There are businesses and local chambers making important contributions in
their communities daily," said Stephen Jordan, CCC executive director.
"From donations of money and material for community events to large
philanthropic gifts, businesses are making a difference. These awards
recognize these groups for their stewardship."
The Center for Corporate Citizenship will present six awards in several

trade associations and chambers may nominate themselves, or they may be
nominated by nonprofits or third parties. Nominations must be postmarked
by July 15.
