(CSRwire) PLANO, TX - ESI, a leading manufacturer of business telephone systems, has announced that the company will continue to share its good fortune by launching the ESI Sri Lanka Relief Fund, in response to the Indian Ocean tsunami of December 26, 2004. The company has created a direct support link with MediSend/International, a Dallas-based medical relief organization.

Eric Suder, ESI's founder and chief executive officer, said, "ESI is a very generous company. We support mentoring, scholarships, aid to the disadvantaged, and other worthy causes. This fund was established with our partner, MediSend/International, to provide long-term medical relief to Sri Lanka."

The goal is to raise $100,000 and match it with ESI's $100,000 for each of the next three years. Thus, every dollar contributed, thanks to MediSend/International's unique program and ESI's match, will provide approximately $40 of value in surplus medical supplies when it reaches Sri Lanka.

When the goal is met, this will represent approximately $12 million in aid.
