Deloitte & Touche Named One of FORTUNE'S ''100 Best Companies to Work For'' for Seventh Year
(CSRwire) NEW YORK, NY - For the seventh year, Deloitte & Touche USA LLP has
been named to FORTUNE magazine's prestigious list of "100 Best Companies
to Work For." Three hundred fifty-six organizations completed the annual
survey, which has become the national benchmark for excellence in
workplace and human resources practices. The complete list of
organizations appears in the magazine's January 24th issue and can be
accessed at www.fortune.com.
"Receiving this honor from FORTUNE is gratifying because it validates our
continuing efforts to provide an excellent work environment for our
people, and to make Deloitte a place where the best choose to be," said
James H. Quigley, CEO of Deloitte & Touche USA LLP. "By providing
rewarding assignments, professional development, mentoring, growth
opportunities and workplace flexibility, we are creating a culture that
allows our people to achieve their personal and professional goals.
"Participating in this survey is an important reminder of our commitment
to our people," added Quigley. "We're committed to enhancing our culture
for the long-term, and doing all the things the very best organizations in
the world do to support their people."
Deloitte continues to be a leader in the areas of work/life management,
career and leadership development, diversity and community involvement.
Among its most recent innovations is Deloitte Career Connections, a career
management resource that provides career coaching, a wide range of
assessment tools and other resources to help employees meet their career
goals at Deloitte.
The FORTUNE survey of "100 Best Companies to Work for in America" pays
tribute to the companies that excel in motivating employees and helping
them manage their personal and professional lives. FORTUNE also surveys
employees at each company, asking a variety of questions about
credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie. Employee opinions
factored heavily in the decision process for the list, as two-thirds of
the company's score was weighted on responses from randomly selected
employees.
