Citizens Advisers Analyst to Lecture at Central European University
Appointed to Editorial Board of CES Journal
(CSRwire) Portsmouth, NH - Today Citizens Advisers announced Dr. Vesela
Veleva, social research analyst, will conduct a series of lectures and a
seminar for graduate students and faculty at Central European University
(CEU) in Budapest, Hungary, on January 11 through January 18, 2005.
Dr. Veleva serves as a visiting faculty member of CEU's Department of
Environmental Sciences and Policy, and this trip marks her third
appearance at the university. Her series of lectures will cover
environmental and occupational health issues, and her seminar will
introduce the strategy and practice of socially responsible investing.
"We are pleased Dr. Veleva, from one of America's leading socially
responsible investing firms, is returning to our university. Her expertise
on environmental issues and SRI is well known to our campus," said Ruben
Mnatsakanian, Ph.D., who heads the Environmental Sciences and Policy
Department.
Separately, Citizens Advisers announced that Dr. Veleva has been asked to
join the Editorial Advisory Board of the Corporate Environmental
Strategy (CES): International Journal for Sustainable Business. Dr.
Veleva and Suresh Sethi, also of Citizens Advisers, authored an article
published in the October issue of the journal on the electronics
industry's preparedness to meet new global toxics regulations.

CES Jounnal's editor-in-chief Don Smith. "We look forward to benefiting
from her impressive industry experience and educational background."
Dr. Veleva has over 13 years of experience in the environmental and
sustainability field. She holds a doctorate in pollution prevention and
cleaner production from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. She also
holds a master of science degree in pollution and environmental control
from the University of Manchester, UK, and a bachelor of science degree in
electrical engineering from the Technical University of Varna, Bulgaria.
