(CSRwire) NEW YORK, NY - Columbia Business School and Net Impact announced
today that it has broken registration records for the 12th Annual Net
Impact Conference, "Business Leaders Building a Better World," to be held
this year from November 11 to 14 at Columbia Business School in New York

be in attendance, representing 80 business schools, 167 companies, and 11

"The entire Columbia Business School community is proud to host this
year's event - in addition to the dozens of students organizing the event,
faculty and alumni are actively involved as panelists, participants and
sponsors," stated R. Glenn Hubbard, dean of Columbia Business School.
"The record-breaking registration reflects the growing emphasis at
Columbia and other top business schools on preparing future leaders who
seek opportunity to add value beyond the bottom line."
"Net Impact's annual conference is a forum where current and future
business leaders from around the world gather together to demonstrate
their commitment to utilizing business for a positive social change," said

Columbia Business School. "The fact that this year's conference will
break all previous attendance records shows that issues related to
corporate social responsibility are increasingly important to the business
leaders of tomorrow."
Consistently drawing the attendance of more than 1,000 business students
